Adam Fuss has some manupulating photography I think relates to some of my graphic art that I integrate with my photography. It looks like an e-ray motif of how the dress the looks like with the bright white with the dark black ground. It also reminds me of todays demo of scanning the hand when we turn off the lights. The hand scan ended up looking like this because the dark versus the light.

I like this photo as well. By seeing the transparent aspect of the dress it gives it a new life. it's as it's as if the dress has a hidden anatomy. it's own nerve system.
ReplyDeleteThis image is a photogram. We did this when working with the cyanotypes. Laying this dress down on photographic (light sensitive) paper. The areas on the dress that were more opaque appear white, and the areas of the paper not covered - turned black.
ReplyDeleteI definitely see the graphic nature in this work - You could try these ideas out using the scanner as well.
This is pretty interesting.
